Polka dots. To do....or not to do.

Coming from an upbringing that has lead me to love all things feminine, I have a distinct love for the flirty vibe that inevitably comes with polka dots. I can remember many outfits adorned with this pattern, and never a complaint in mind. Of course I am thrilled that the dot is coming back again (as seen on runways starting Spring 2014 through Fall Couture 2015.) The fresh, more graphic like version of the print is fun, and I am already planning space for a new dress in my closet.

With this said, I also need to mention that bringing them into my interior decor has not always been my first choice. Until lately, I have been hesitant to embrace the trend in interior design...but I think I've officially changed my mind. Check out the inspiration pics below from some past dot features. I envision that soon we're going to see a resurgence of the pattern in a more graphic, modern way, just as we're seeing on the runways.
