a metallic future perfect.
6.17.2014 Who doesn't love the collection of unique pieces at the Future Perfect? David Alhadeff's taste is absolutely entertaining yet at the same time...perfect. The shop consists of pieces that have a certain punch such as coveted bronzed crystals, reclaimed wood wonders, custom wall coverings, as well as the beloved triangle sconce. Here are some of my recent favorites. For more, check out The Future Perfect.

wall coverings the new way.
If wallpaper was always this cool, I'm not sure I would have ever turned into a strict believer in painted walls. Isn't this amazing? Every piece is custom made using the traditional technique of marbling. Loving this one in particular, the Night Collection.

everyone needs shine.
These bronzed crystals from the The Future Perfect are mezmerizing. I can envsion these as a delightful addition to the glamour of my desk. I'm a little in love with the fact that there isn't necessarily a practical use, but they're just beautiful objects.

modern style vs. signature style
6.16.2014 An epic even happened Saturday in Madison Square Park, NYC. For the second time, the ever famous hairstylist, Christiaan, staged one of his events...free haircuts in the park. One hundred lucky people who were ready to release their fears of change, freely trusted the stylist on the spot, and embraced a free new look. This is truly was modern art. Known for his less than traditional style, Christiaan has cut the hair of celebrities and models alike for dating back t

effortless.
